St. Edmundsbury Male Voice Choir Golden Ale

ed Rat Craft Brewery was founded in October 2007 and in a very short space of time they have won many prestigious awards including finalists in the Sainsburys Beer Competition. As a brewery based near Bury St. Edmunds we had no problems in their brewing our own 20th Anniversary Beer! Red Rat Craft Brewery is owned by the most unlikely pairing in the history of brewing; Tony Hadley (of Spandau Ballet fame) and brewer Kevin McHenry. It is true that one of the two has never brewed a decent pint and the other can’t sing for toffee. The story began when the dynamic duo brewed a one-off beer ‘Hadley’s’ for a charity event. Several awards, a national listing in Sainsbury’s and less than 12 months later we have upgraded the brewery twice and still struggle to meet demand.

They specialise in custom-made beers, to their customers it’s like owning a brewery without the tax evasion. They are there to assist all the way; from the selection of hops and grain, to the designing of special labels and pump clips.

There custom-made beers have been used to generate funds for charities and clubs as well as other businesses. At Jimmy’s Farm his own branded beers sell at 10 times the rate of his other stocked beer.

Our very own Golden Ale has gone extremely well with both members and friends alike. Its smooth drinkable taste has become a hit.

Priced at £2.50 per bottle.
